About the wine…

To craft this beautiful wine, ripe phenolic grapes are harvested and then cold-soaked for 6 hours on the skins. Using only free-run juice, the fermentation process begins in stainless steel tanks before being transferred to new French oak barrels, to complete primary fermentation. Secondary fermentation and ageing commence with transfer into 100% new French oak barrels, where the wine is left to ferment for precisely 312 days.

This crisp Bush Vine Chenin Blanc shares secrets through its unique taste, as it boasts the flavour of yellow apples, white pears and delicate hints of honey. When paired with a warm and delicious mild Thai curry, amongst other tasty meals, this wine thrives!

More about the vineyard…

Made from single block selected grapes, we are able to ensure that each bottle produced is of superior quality. These vines, with rootstock Richter 99, were first planted in 1982 and now flourish in a soil type mainly derived from Granite. The soil is reddish to yellow in colour and is acidic with good physical and water retention qualities, such as the Oakleaf, Tukulu and Clovelly soil types.
